Answering-Ansar’s CHALLENGE, a ridiculous one though

AA says:

With this matter, the Ummah of Muhammad (s.a.w) have been clearly informed that in the Ummah of Musa (a.s) the one to be nominated as the first successor of Musa (a.s) was not someone out of the family but it was Musa’s (a.s) brother. That is why in the Ummah of Muhammad Mustafa (s.a.w) also, the first person to be nominated as his vicegerent was Ali (a.s) who is the brother of the holy Prophet (s.a.w). The word ‘Brother’ has been clearly mentioned in the Qur’an. That is why the holy prophet (s.a.w) referring to Ali (a.s) has said, ‘Ya Ali, Anta Minni Bimanzilati Haruna Min Musa Illa Annahu Laa Nabiyyu Ba’di’, O Ali your position in relation to me is tantamount to that of Harun with Musa, except that there will be no prophet after me. He also said ‘O Ali you are a brother to me in this world and the hereafter’.

The above two traditions of ‘Position’ and ‘Brotherhood’ are accepted by both the sects though a few Nasibis have tried to belie it. Therefore, there is no proof whatsoever regarding the holy Prophet (s.a.w) having referred to anyone else apart from Imam Ali (a.s) as his brother or as someone whose position to him was like that of Harun (a.s) to Musa (a.s)! The enemies have tried very hard to put a cover over this tradition but fortunately light could not be blocked from shining.

As far as the argument that Aaron was Moses’s successor, than what connection it has to the Shia claim of Imamate for Ali, since Aaron died before Moses. So how can anyone use it as an argument to prove the imamate of Ali?

Abdul Sahib al Hasani al Aamili says in his book ‘AlAnbiyaHayatuhumQasasuhum’

It is absolutely believed that Aaron died before Moses, and it is said that God ordered Moses to go with Aaron to a mountain called Hur, so they went along and there Aaron died and Moses buried him and went back to the Israelites and he told them about the death of his brother Aaron, but they denied that and charged him for killing Aaron

Now as far as the challenge is concerned, it either shows the deceptive nature of AA , or their ignorant nature. Since it is very clearly mentioned in Sahih Muslim:

Muslim :: Book 31 : Hadith 5871

‘Abdullah b. Mas’ud reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: If I were to choose a bosom friend I would have definitely chosen Abu Bakr as my bosom friend, but he is my brother and my companion and Allah, the Exalted and Gliorious, has taken your brother and companion (meaning Prophet himself) as a friend.

    There was no need to mention the virtues of Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, because his virtues were very well known and not doubted by anyone with half a brain. Why else did the people as a whole give him their allegiance so quickly? Do you think the same people who migrated and spent their wealth for Islam so quickly agreed on blatant falsehood?
